This blog is part food blog, part journal, and part skills sharing. All of which have helped me immensely.
Food and cooking and mental health wellness techniques have been the twin pillars of support for my life. At its worse, my unstable mental health harmed my ability to cook. Consequently, cooking and food had a largely positive impact on my mental health. There were several steps before I could get them in balance for my overall benefit. Consequently, my goal is to share the information and personal experiences beneficial to my overall wellbeing.
Menu Talks introduces a mental health wellness skill or mechanism on the first Thursday of the month. The skill will be discussed further on the remaining Thursdays of that month.
I use this term to focus on recovery and management goals to move through life with mental health concerns.
