WP Recipe Maker (developed by Bootstrapped Ventures) does not access or store any data collected by the plugin. All information remains in this website’s local database and is not shared with the developer.

Data Collected

  • Comments & Ratings: If comment ratings are enabled, the plugin stores the rating a user gives to a recipe along with the personal data WordPress core collects.
  • Cookies: When user ratings are enabled, a WPRM_User_Voted_%recipe% cookie (with %recipe% the ID of the recipe) is stored for 30 days to help prevent rating spam.
  • IP Address: If user ratings are enabled, IP addresses are stored as an additional spam prevention measure.
  • Manually Submitted Data: The Recipe Submission feature may collect personal data such as name and email, depending on form settings. If reCAPTCHA is enabled, users must agree to Google's terms and privacy policy.
